My latest range of jewellery is entirely based on the infamous painting La Primavera by Sandro Botticelli. I studied the themes, characters, the renaissance and movement found in the painting and then interpreted it in to glass jewellery.
I sculpted the glass beads individually in a flame and strung them on gorgeous waxed cotton cord, sourced from a Melbourne supplier.
I’ve released new colours of the popular Foxface and Teardrop wooden pendant necklaces that range from the whites in the dancing Three Graces to the cool blues found in Zephyr.
And finally, I introduce to you the new collection of earrings, in both studs and wooden drop shapes. I tried to include as much of the dancing and movement in the painting in to these small studs. I melted and twisted coloured glass to create spirals that flow in and out of one another.
